Yellowman (born Winston Foster on January 15, 1956) is a legendary Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist who overcame extreme adversity—including being abandoned for having albinism and a 1986 cancer diagnosis—to become dancehall's first superstar. Known for his witty, rapid-fire "toasting," he dominated the 1980s scene with hits like "Zungguzungguguzungguzeng" and paved the way for international dancehall success.
