Raised by a god-fearing mother and a Black Panther father in the mecca of progresive politics, Raj's music perfectly articulates the beauty and struggle of being a black man in 2022. Raj transitions from hilarious anecdotes to heartfelt gems about love, loss, and self-reflection, often making him both teacher and class clown on the same song. With the ability to seamlessly transition from rapping his ass off to hitting the high note, Rexx Life Raj has become one of Bay Area music's most celebrated voices.
 

Raj's music has seen him garner high praise from his peers, critical acclaim from press, and prominent placements from editors across Apple, Spotify, Youtube and more. He has been co-signed by legends like Pharrell, Scott Storch, and Zane Lowe, and released music with modern superstars such as Kehlani, G-Eazy, Russ, Kenny Beats, and more. In the process, he has had music synced in multiple volumes of NBA 2K and in ESPN's coverage of the NBA. Furthermore, he has been part of Complex, BET, Pigeons & Planes, and People Magazines "Artist to Watch" lists, and was selected by Youtube to be part of their inaugural "Black Voices Fund" 2021 artist class.
 

"The Blue Hour" is Raj's latest album release, which is his meditation on healing in the wake of extreme personal tragedy. It features Fireboy DML, Wale, Larry June, and Russ.
